comfortable stay but noisy evenings
The room I stayed in was well cared for and had a pleasant ambiance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, giving a warm welcome upon arrival.
The noise from smokers in the alleyway made it difficult to rest.

Delightful Stay with Exceptional Service!
We enjoyed a splendid two-night stay. The staff impressed us with their attentiveness, ensuring our needs were met. The dining experience was especially memorable—try the traditional buffet for a taste of local flavors! Aim to arrive early for the best selection.

Recommend it for couples looking for a charm
The hotel had a lovely outdoor space for dining, which felt cozy while we enjoyed our meals. The bar area had this warm, inviting atmosphere that just made you wanna sit down and relax.
It wasn't exactly cheap but it was still acceptable for what we got.

The room had a lovely charm, but the bed was very uncomfortable.

Spot-on high street location with easy strolls to local restaurants. The outdoor dining area provides a pleasant vibe for enjoying drinks under the sun.
Rooms are a bit basic, lacking essential toiletries like shampoo and shower gel on arrival. Breakfast options felt like leftovers, with juice boxes and muffins outside the door instead of something more substantial. The car park situation was tight, leading to a search for alternative parking. Though the setting has potential, the experience could use a few refinements, especially with noise levels from outside and limited room amenities.

the staff was super helpful n friendly, they helped us with transport issues and made us feel at home. the hotel was clean which was great, n the sunday brunch was lovely. also, the location in chipping norton is charming and had nice local shops to explore. we loved that it wasn’t a modern hotel, gave it character. the atmosphere felt relaxed and cozy.
the room we stayed in could use some updates, it felt a bit dated. also, bathroom could've been cleaner and more toiletries would’ve been nice.

The location is conveniently close to charming local shops and attractions, providing easy access for exploring the area. The building has character with its old coaching inn vibe, making it an interesting place to stay.
Unfortunately, the room felt worn and dated, with broken fixtures and cleanliness issues such as dirty cups and a moldy shower. There was no food service available during parts of our stay, and the advertised amenities, like the pool, were inaccessible, which dampened the experience significantly. finding the shower door not functioning well was a frustrating surprise.

The quirky charm of the old coaching inn made our stay nice, especially with the fantastic food and unique rooms. Beware of low beams in room 16!
